North American lithium-ion firm Beckett Energy Systems has signed a European distribution agreement with UK-based Steatite.
The deal extends the Cleveland, Ohio company’s scope for selling its 24 Volt lithium-ion modules and battery management systems in Europe.
The company’s “commercial-off-the-shelf” large format lithium-ion module is UN transport approved.
The battery management system (BMS) keeps the high energy density lithium-ion battery modules operating safely and ensures their optimum performance for long life.
Beckett will be showcasing the 24Vdc, 1.1kWh lithium-ion battery module at The Battery Show (Novi, MI booth 1725) and Steatite at the Defence Security Equipment International in London, UK from 15th – 18th September.
