Maccor and Webasto Power Test Systems have announced a partnership to deliver integrated battery testing solutions across a wide range of voltages.
The collaboration combines Maccor’s expertise in precision battery testing for lower-voltage systems (<200V) with Webasto’s specialisation in higher-voltage platforms (>200V), creating a comprehensive offering for OEMs, battery labs and universities.
Both companies design, manufacture and service their systems in the United States, ensuring high standards of quality, reliability and responsive support. This domestic focus provides customers with confidence in supply stability, shorter lead times and technical expertise – critical advantages as electrification accelerates.
The partnership enables battery testing capabilities from cell and module cycling to high-voltage pack and drivetrain emulation, supporting diverse applications in automotive, commercial vehicles, aerospace, off-highway equipment and energy storage. As electrification advances, testing requirements are becoming increasingly demanding, requiring scalable solutions that meet rigorous safety standards and deliver realistic performance validation.
“We are thrilled to work with Webasto,” said Mike Sandoval, vice president of business development at Maccor. “This partnership allows us to provide our customers with best-in-class solutions across the full voltage spectrum. We look forward to a fruitful relationship that drives innovation and supports the growing demands of the battery industry.”
“This partnership represents a major step forward in supporting the future of electrification,” added Dimitri Liambotis, sales director – Power Test Systems at Webasto. “By combining our strengths, Webasto and Maccor are accelerating product development and empowering innovation across industries.”
