Julie McClure (pictured) is to take over as chairman of US lead-acid battery company MAC Engineering effective September.
McClure, who has been with the company for 25 years, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company.
Other new appointments at the company include Douglas Bornas, who will become MAC’s president as of 1 September. He joined MAC in 1997 and his main responsibility has been running the sales department and coordinating MAC’s sales offices worldwide. His new duties will also include overseeing all aspects of MAC Engineering, the company said.
Daniel Duffield will become executive VP of MAC Engineering as of 1 September . Dan joined MAC Engineering in 1984 and has worked in engineering, field service, sales and operations. His role will include overseeing “all daily aspects of our plant and engineering groups”, the company said.
Thomas Isbrecht has been appointed senior director of sales of MAC Engineering as of 1 September. Tom joined MAC in 2014. His new duties will include coordinating all aspects of sales with the company’s domestic offices and customers as well as offices in Brazil, Japan, China, India, Thailand and Paris.
