Lead-acid battery separator manufacturer Microporous has announced new additions to its Tennessee facility Piney Flats.
Roger Calloway will become site manager, Matt Smith and Doug Lopez are now process engineers, and John Daugherty becomes maintenance manager.
“They are each recognized as best in their field,” said Microporous president Jean-Luc Koch. “Their combined 75 years of experience in PE separator manufacturing is a very rare asset in our industry and will help accelerate our development plans.”
Microporous is installing its third production line in Feistritz, Austria, which will bring the company’s global annual capacity to 25 million square metres of industrial separators and 60 million square metres of automotive separators.
