Midtronics has unveiled a diagnostic and an analytic tool for the military market. The GR8-1100 MIL Battery Diagnostic Station and the MDX-600 MIL Series Battery Conductance and Electrical System Analysers will test and charge batteries specifically used in military vehicles.
The GR8-1100 MIL is portable diagnostic tool that combines rapid charging with state of health analysis. It carries out preventative maintenance checks and services (PMCS) to alert the user when a battery is reaching the end of its useful life.
The MDX-600 MIL Series is a powerful handheld analyser for testing batteries and electrical systems to give instant results on a multiplicity of battery and vehicle types as well as rating systems.
Both analysers have custom-designed algorithms for military batteries: military 6T, Group 31, and 4D/8D battery sizes are supported as well as flooded, gel, or AGM battery types. The two products have are durable and designed for use in harsh environmental conditions.
