Oxis Energy is collaborating with Proinso to develop a prototype energy storage system to integrate with PV systems.
Proinso is a PV inverter and system supplier, it is working with the lithium-sulphur battery developer to create a storage system for commercial release later this year.
The two companies are hoping to tap into the growing solar panel market and create an efficient storage system to maximise the use of renewable energy.
Using Oxis’ lightweight, safe lithium-sulphur batteries- together with the support of a larger company in the solar industry- will allow the companies to deliver a storage option for any environment for integration with solar PV systems in competitive energy markets.
