Prolectric, the UK-based off-grid renewable power and lighting specialist, has introduced its new ProCharge Three Phase Solar Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), featuring a deployable 5,280W solar array and 120kWh of onboard storage.
The system will debut at Plantworx 2025’s Site Sustainability Showcase in September.
As headline sponsor of the show, Prolectric will demonstrate how solar, hydrogen, electric and hybrid technologies can be integrated to reduce emissions and improve site efficiency.
The ProCharge BESS combines 12 440W solar panels with advanced battery storage, designed for high-demand applications up to 45kVA. It integrates with 100kVA diesel generators to form hybrid power setups for site compounds and equipment charging – including electric telehandlers, small EVs mini diggers and battery-powered ATVs.
During trials at the Kier A417 Missing Link Project, the prototype saved over £32,500 in five months, with projected annual savings of £69,000 and 150,000kg of CO₂e avoided.
Compared to Prolectric’s single-phase system, the new unit delivers three times the output and 3.5 times the battery capacity. It’s compatible with standard UK three-phase distribution boards and features remote monitoring via microcontroller and GPS.
