US lead-acid firm Exide Technologies has awarded its vice president with a promotion to help the company rebuild its our brand and market presence.
Brad S. Kalter has been named as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the firm after serving the company’s global battery manufacturing and energy storage business for more than 12 years.
In his new role Kalter will sit on the company’s executive leadership team and report to Vic Koelsch, President and Chief Executive Officer of Exide Technologies.
“Brad has been an integral member of the Exide legal team for more than a decade, providing guidance, perspective and strategic insight across our global businesses, and has served as a valuable liaison with the Company’s Board of Directors. His promotion to this key position reflects his experience and deep knowledge of the industry,” said Vic Koelsch, President and CEO.
“He will be an outstanding complement to our executive leadership team as we move the new Exide forward with a renewed growth strategy focused on rebuilding our brand and market presence.”
He has previously served as Exide’s Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since 2009 and as Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since 2006.
