Solith/Sovema SpA has been chosen as the advanced equipment designer and supplier to US lithium-sulphur battery maker Sion Power Corporation.
Solith/Sovema’s customised winder has said to afford manufacturers flexibility in cell design while being able to maintain production rates.
Sion, a privately held company based in Arizona, will use the winder to manufacture its rechargeable Licerion® battery for UAV, military, portable- power and electric-vehicle applications.
