Lead-acid battery machinery maker TBS Engineering has opened the doors of its new UK headquarters in Gloucestershire.
The GBP15 million ($20m), 100,000 square feet manufacturing and engineering facility includes 80,000 sq ft of manufacturing space and offices.
TBS group managing director David Longney said the June opening— which comes in the company’s 50th anniversary year— marked “the start of another exciting era developing the latest innovations in world-leading lead-acid battery assembly equipment”.
Today, the cast-on strap machines manufacturer turns over GBP50m and employs more than 225 across its operations in China, the US, Canada and the UK.
