Think Energy Group has launched a new high-voltage battery energy storage system (BESS) range, tailored to meet the increasing energy demands and sustainability targets of industrial and commercial operations.
The SiteGrid series includes five scalable models – SiteGrid X100, X200, X200+, X350 and X500 – covering capacities from 100kVA to 500kVA. These systems allow businesses to hybridise power requirements up to 500kVA, overcome grid limitations, integrate renewable energy sources, and reduce both emissions and operational costs.
“Our new BESS range is designed to meet the high energy needs of industrial and commercial projects while supporting sustainability goals and reporting obligations to stakeholders,” said Peter McCulloch, technical director. “Whether for hire or purchase, these battery systems provide a flexible, reliable and environmentally-friendly power solution.”
The SiteGrid range offers peak shaving to reduce energy costs, helps overcome capacity constraints, and supports emissions reduction and lower operational expenses. It features automotive-grade liquid-cooled lithium LFP batteries and includes an integrated solar PV charger as an optional add-on. Units are available for hire or purchase and can be synchronised to scale up to 2MW. Each system is customisable to suit specific project needs.
Powered by the Think Energy Panorama asset and energy management platform, the SiteGrid BESS range is said to deliver one of the most efficient off-grid solutions currently available.
