Finnish energy storage solution firm Wärtsilä has named the new president of its energy division who will have global is responsible for the business.
As well as president of the energy division, Sushil Purohit will become executive vice president, and member of the board of management of Wärtsilä Corporation from 3 August.
Purohit joined the firm in 1998 as a sales support engineer and has since held several sales and management positions in various geographies within the energy business.
The current head of energy, Marco Wirén, leaves the company to become the CFO of Nokia Corporation.
