Temporary power provider Aggreko has opened a service centre in the city of Foshan in southern China.
Situated within the Gangbei Industrial Zone in the Shunde District, the new facility will replace the existing operation located in the neighbouring city of Guangzhou that was established back in 2010. The new service centre will cover an area of 5,300 square metres and will incorporate Aggreko workshop layouts and warehousing processes as well as office space.
“Aggreko has chosen Foshan to be the hub of our business for southern China due to its strong and diverse industrial base and its convenient access to the other major industrial centres of the Pearl River Delta,” said Kelvin Lam, General Manager, Aggreko China.
“As we rapidly outgrew our facilities at Guangzhou it was vital that we secured a strategic location that offered us the room to keep growing our business to continue serving our expanding customer base.”
