Temporary power provider Aggreko is expanding its power provision to Bali with an additional 45MW of power being deployed.
The expansion is in addition to a re-tendering for the 125 MW already delivered to the province, bringing Aggreko’s total power output in the region to 170MW.
This will meet 23% of the total electricity demand in Bali, where the local grid benefits form the bolstering of temporary power to maintain infrastructure and services.
The local Balinese economy is growing and the demand on the network increasing at a rate that cannot be met without additional capacity.
The additional capacity will be installed at the Indonesia Power subsidiary Cogindo Daya Bersama site in Pemaron, Northern Bali.
