Aggreko is supplying a 50MW temporary power package to the Guinea’s capital, Conakry, to shoulder the burden of power outages affecting the city.
The agreement to provide capacity to the local grid was struck with Electricité de Guinée (EDG) to ensure reliable power to the industrial sector of the country, as well as to the city itself.
This interim power is intended to support the country until EDG can reinforce the infrastructure to protect against future power outages.
