Australian zinc bromide flow energy storage system firm Redflow has made a series of managerial changes ahead of the first deliveries of its ZCell residential flow batteries.
Redflow executive chairman and shareholder Simon Hackett has been named as acting chief executive officer (CEO).
Meanwhile non-executive director Richard Aird was named acting Chief Operating Officer (COO) and company secretary.
The move comes after Stuart Smith resigned as Redflow’s CEO and company secretary.
Redflow director Howard Stack, said: “Stuart has led Redflow during a period in which it transformed a promising technology into a world-class battery and outsourced manufacturing to Flex.
“The company is now embarking on the next phase of its development, and with Stuart’s departure we have appointed Simon and Richard as acting CEO and acting COO to oversee the delivery of ZCell batteries in Australia and to identify the leadership team to deliver Redflow batteries to the world.”
The company’s range of products include the Z Cell home battery and ZBM batteries for commercial, telecommunications and grid- scale deployment.
