Renewable energy storage firm Sonnenbatterie has made a number of recruitments ahead of a major announcement at the end of the month.
The company is staying tight-lipped about the announcement, but we do know the three new employees come from Tesla’s German based sales and marketing teams.
Jonas Rabe rejoins the German firm as marketing manager. He was formerly Sonnenbatterie’s Sales Manager and PR before becoming Tesla’s marketer in Germany in March 2014.
He is joined by Alan Atzberger, the firm’s new Vice President of Direct Sales and Marketing. He quit Tesla after five years in its sales and marketing department.
Lastly, Marcel Meub has joined Sonnenbatterie as head of sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He was previously Tesla’s Frankfurt regional sales manager.
The new recruits bring the total number of Tesla defectors to turn up at Sonnebatterie to four in recent months.
Sonnenbatterie’s Managing Director Philipp Schröder was the first of the four to move from Tesla in October. He had served as its Country Director for Germany and Austria.
