Digatron Power Electronics has appointed German Karl Sobotka as General Manager responsible for Digatron Qingdao China.
Sobotka, who has lived in Qingdao and worked in China for ten years, was chosen for his knowledge of the Asian markets.
He has more than 33 years experience working at Digatron and before the promotion was Sales Manager Asia for the whole Region from Aachen HQ.
Digatron’s CEO, Kevin Campbell, said: “Karl’s knowledge of Chinese culture (especially sales culture) and his extensive networking with clients throughout China, provide the Digatron Qingdao China operation a platform for business growth.”
Digatron Power Electronics is a group of companies with engineering, manufacturing and service facilities located in Germany, the United States, China and India.
Rolf Beckers founded Digatron Industrie-Elektronik in 1968 and serves as its Chairman, Chairman of Management Board and General Manager.
The previous GM was Kevin Zheng, who left for family reasons.
