Energy Storage Publishing has strengthened its team with two writers that will both bolster its industry leading editorial and its expansion into China.
With a life-time’s experience in battery manufacturing, Mike McDonagh joins as ESPL’s technical editor, having written for BEST magazine on lead-acid for the last four years.
Xuan Zhong joins ESPL as assistant editor with special responsibility for Chinese matters, as well as gathering and generating industry news for the company’s print and online magazine and weekly BBB newsletter.
Zhong was granted a Master degree in Global Journalism studies from University of Sheffield last week.
She also has a bachelor’s degree in Editing and Publishing in South China Normal University.
She previously served as trainee editor in Nanfang Media Group, one of the biggest Chinese media companies, between 2014 and 2015.
Here she wrote and managed charity campaigns in social media, and created magazine articles in terms of arts, finance and economics.
