In 2025, EcosystèmeD and Avicenne Energy, in partnership with Grand Port Maritime de Dunkerque, are joining forces to launch a new event.
The aim is ambitious: to gather international, national and local players at the heart of one of Europe’s leading regions for the battery industry.
The conference program, exhibition space, site visits and social events will present many opportunities to understand, meet and discuss all the issues involved in the emergence of this new industry.

Batteries Event – Dunkerque 2025 will focus on exiting challenges whilst covering a wide range of thrilling topics such as:
- Analysing industrial, regional and environmental issues
- Initiating discussions with economic and social prospects
- Defining skills and know-how requirements
- Supporting new business and start-ups
- Welcoming and integrating newcomers to the sector
- Strengthening links between the economic and institutional actors
- Promoting Dunkirk’s region to consolidate the movement and attract new players.
In addition to being at the heart of France’s 1st automotive production region, Dunkirk is now positioned at three of the key stages in the electric battery value chain (materials preparation, battery manufacturing and recycling), particularly thanks to structuring industrial projects.
