This half-day Advanced Lead Acid Battery Consortium (ALABC) seminar will discuss the performance, economic and sustainability/recycling advantages of using lead batteries in applications including utility and renewable-energy storage and compare these with other types of battery. Recent successful demonstration projects will be described and delegates will have an opportunity to discuss the options for battery energy storage with leading industry experts.
