FG Wilson has added to its range of diesel and gas generator sets with the launch of the P220-1 50Hz unit using Perkins 1106A-E70TAG4 engines.
This will complement the redesigned 26 – 200 kVA range, launched in 2010, and will feature a ‘common sense component arrangement’ for ease of use. The new model increases the 26 – 200 kVA standby power generator range up to 220 kVA and provides a smaller footprint than the current P220H-2 models available. It is aimed for small industrial power needs, with a footprint equal to P200-2.
The new generator is compliant with EU noise regulations and fits in with FG Wilson’s existing generator range, it says.
FG Wilson has also expanded its global dealer network into Nigeria. In March this year SCOA Power became an authorised dealer for Nigeria. SCOA, a division of a Nigerian conglomerate, has been operating since 1926 and is one of the largest suppliers of generator sets in Nigeria.
The Northern Irish firm will be supplying the whole range of FG Wilson generator sets from 5.5 – 2 200 kVA as well as their services.
