Steve Fludder (pictured) has taken over as CEO of US energy storage firm NEC Energy Solutions.
Fludder is a former senior executive officer with the Samsung Group and was most recently CEO of Alpha-En Corporation— a publicly-traded New York-based clean energy company.
Fludder succeeds Michihiro Ezawa, NEC ES’ chairman, who also acted as CEO on a temporary basis.
Ezawa said: “Steve has a consistent track record of driving growth and delivering results for large global organisations.”
Last September, NEC ES said it would supply a Swiss utility with an 18MW/ 7.5MWh grid storage solution that would potentially be “the largest battery energy storage system in Switzerland“.
