US genset manufacturer Kohler Power Systems is to expand its manufacturing capacity in the state of Wisconsin and create 300 new jobs over the next three years.
An extension will be added to its production facility in the Town of Mosel and over the next three years more than 300 new jobs will be added in the facilities in Saukville, Kohler and Mosel.
“This investment reflects our commitment to provide homeowners and businesses with superior product and rapid delivery,” said Kohler in a statement.
Since 2011, there have been more than 5,000 power outages and more than 50 million homes and businesses affected in North America alone thus creating the charge for more demand in standby power, the company said.
