Mitsubishi Electric is celebrating after its DiamondPlus 1100 Series UPS won a ‘product of the year’ award from a US magazine.
Electrical Products & Solutions magazine said the three-phase UPS series’ efficiencies of up to 93.4%, 0.9 output power factor and a lightweight, space-saving design was worthy of recognition as a top product of 2012.
Each year the magazine’s editors choose the top products in the electrical industry market based on their uniqueness, benefits and reliability. The energy-efficient DiamondPlus 1100 is one of only 18 products to receive the award in this year’s competition.
The DiamondPlus 1100 is available in a variety of power ratings ranging from 10kVA to 50 kVA, and can be arranged in an N+1 configuration. The unit’s fully digital screen and front access allows easy monitoring, while “hot swappable” power and battery modules promote maximum flexibility and rapid mean time to repair (MTTR).
