Palladium Energy has expanded its engineering research and development department with the addition of an Engineering and Technology Centre of Excellence.
The additional 6 000-square feet state-of-the-art R&D testing lab is at Palladium’s headquarters in Woodridge, Illinois, in a former Argonne National Laboratory. It will be the company’s hub for R&D in the US developing battery packs and chargers for military electronics, medical and industrial devices, data centre UPS, consumer electronics, and medium to large format battery systems.
“We go to market as experts, partnering with our customers to help them differentiate themselves in the marketplace,” said John Gatti, Palladium’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We’ve remained committed to this principle for nearly 40 years. This represents another major investment and further reaffirms our commitment to engineering and technology as the cornerstone of our strategy and our partnership with customers.”
The facility is located adjacent to the manufacturing plant and will collaborate with the company’s engineers around the globe at Palladium locations in Brazil China and Malaysia.
