ViZn Energy Systems has entered into a deal to ramp up production of its zinc-iron redox flow batteries.
The deal will see Jabil Circuit help the U.S. company fulfill current orders of its 80kw/160kwh Z20 battery storage system.
The partnership will also allow the Texas based company to expand its capacity to meet expected delivery commitments over the next 12 months.
It comes during a six month period of growth for the company, which opened a new corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas in February. Click here for full story:

It also expanded capabilities at its Montana facility, where the company’s design center, engineering and operations staff are located, in a bid to ship more than 1MWh of zinc-ion flow battery systems in the first half of 2015.
The Z20 is housed in a six-metre long shipping container, has a life span of up to 20-years and is capable of 10,000 cycles, claim the company.
