US firm Powervar has expanded its range of uninterruptible power manager (UPM) products with the addition of the Grounding Technology Solutions (GTS) Series – 250 VA – 600 VA.
The GTS series is designed to provide protection against power outages, surges, noise associated with dirty power and ground loops. It features a surge diverter, noise filter and low impedance isolation transformer to guarantee fully conditioned power whether operating on the utility power or on battery.
When on battery, the UPM models provide a low distortion sine wave for 8-10 minutes, depending on load. Other features include user hot swappable batteries, full front panel controls and indicators, and both RJ11 and USB communications interfaces for use with Powervar’s MopUPS Express software.
The new GTS Series is designed for use in retail environments to protect POS systems in North America and around the world. All models are also in full compliance with UL, WEEE and RoHS directives.
