Continuus Properzi has introduced a wide lead strip (360mm) casting and rolling system designed for battery manufacturers gearing up on their punched grid production.
The new line can be specified with production throughputs of between five and 30 tons per hour. Properzi pioneered expanded strip production with Magneti Marelli back in the early 1990s and the technology grew to dominate SLI battery making.
