Nominations for the Smart Energy Award 2013 have been announced ahead of the prize giving in Frankfurt on May 14th. This award is the Hessian State prize for intelligent energy recognising innovative and promising companies in the field.
The companies nominated for the award are: Akasol GmbH; BE-Power GmbH und Q3 Energieelektronik; Control Net International Inc.; CUT! Energy GmbH; Fraunhofer IWESl; Mainova AG; MVV Energie AG; SMA Solar Technology AG; Project group at the TU Darmstadt; Project group at the University of Münster.
“The nominated products, technologies, and concepts have convinced us in terms of their innovative power. This innovative power contributes a great deal to a successful energy transition and thereby to a decentralised energy provision system”, explains Dr. Kai Strübbe, Head of Embedded Systems TÜV Süd AG and jury member for the Smart Energy Award.
The Smart Energy Award 2013 is granted by the Hessian Ministry for Environment, Energy, Agriculture, and Consumer Protection in the form of the Hessian State Prize for intelligent energy and comes with prize money of €16,500.
