Wireless battery charging firm Energous Corporation has entered into a partnership with China lithium-ion battery manufacturer Grepow Battery.
The firms will work together to develop batteries that are wirelessly charged via the US-based Energous’ radio frequency (RF) based charging technology.
Grepow has a strong footprint in the commercial, medical and industrial applications.
Grepow Battery is based in Shenzhen, China, and was founded in 1998. The firm specialises in research and production of NIMH, Li-Po batteries, LiFePO4 batteries and development of power management systems.
