Battery maker Enersys said it appointed Keith Fisher as president, Energy Systems Global, starting in January 2025. Fisher succeeds Shawn O’Connell, who was recently promoted to president and COO, in place to succeed Enersys CEO Dave Shaffer when he retires next year.
Energy Systems is one of the four lines of business, the others being Motive Power, Specialty and New Ventures.
The company said Fisher has “a distinguished 27-year career, brings a proven track record of driving operational and financial excellence across multiple industries.” He has held leadership in global strategic execution and services, it said.
Fisher joins from warehouse automation company Honeywell Intelligrated, where he led significant growth in services. Enersys said he implemented rigorous project management processes and tools leading to meaningful margin expansion and improved customer satisfaction.
He has led multi-billion-dollar businesses and demonstrated a capacity to scale and optimise operations in various industry cycles and market conditions, it said.
O’Connell said: “Keith’s extensive background in service transformation and global operational excellence will be instrumental in driving growth across our Energy Systems line of business.”
