Energy storage company Fluence Energy said its digital services centre (DSC) has expanded with a new remote monitoring and diagnostics centre (RMDC) in India. It will be co-located with its innovation centre in Bengaluru.
The DSC is expected to serve as a central hub and will apply operational data intelligence to the fleet of assets managed by Fluence’s team around the world.
Fluence’s DSC team will provide preventative and reactive storage asset maintenance. It will aim to resolve up to 90% of issues remotely and provide support to field engineers working on site.
It will also provide insight for the company’s research and development, and services functions.
Roman Loosen, chief business operations and transformation officer, said: “By centralising our digital capabilities and expertise, we aim to achieve best-in-class reliability for our customers and profit from our learnings on one of the largest installed bases of any energy storage solutions provider.”
