Saft, a subsidiary of fossil fuel giant TotalEnergies, has appointed Cedric Duclos as its CEO following the retirement of its previous chief.
Duclos replaced Ghislain Lescuyer on 11 April when the latter retired after ten years as a member of the supervisory board and seven years as CEO, where he oversaw the sale of Saft to TotalEnergies in 2016.
Duclos joins Saft from Hutchinson, where he has spent nearly 25 years— most recently as president and CEO of its Fluid Management Systems business.
Duclos’ CV mainly includes work in the automotive sector and in aerospace, defence, and energy, with specialties in thermal and battery management, international business development, smart plant automation and electric and autonomous vehicle technologies.
