Maltese-based firm Abertax Technologies and Luxembourg’s Accumalux Group have signed a co-operation agreement aimed at giving customers a one-stop lead-acid components service.
Both companies supply the battery industry with parts such as battery boxes, lids and gas release valves.
The two firms announced the partnership at this year’s European Lead Battery Conference (ELBC) 15 in Malta.
Accumalux president, Charles Loius Ackerman and Abertax CEO Joseph Cilia said at the event: “The reason and the result of this agreement are mainly to the advantage of our clients who will benefit to a great extent from this joint operation.”
Abertax also launched their inaugural industry award at the show, which was presented to the Advanced Lead Acid Battery Association.
