A private investment firm has bought an injection-moulding firm focused mainly on the lead-acid battery industry.
Richardson Molding was sold for an undisclosed amount to Texas-based Owner Resource Group LLC.
The US firm makes injection moulded parts for batteries, including containers, covers, vents, and accessory items from its Mississippi and Indiana manufacturing facilities.
Richardson Molding’s owner and CEO Roger Winslow has retired from the business.
His replacement is Steve Dyer, a plastics and fuel cell veteran with 20-years experience in the industry.
