As the world confronts the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, organisers of the 19th Asian Battery Conference and Exhibition (19ABC) has announced the event will now be held between 2 –5 November 2021 from its original publicised date.
This was done to ensure the safety and well-being of attendees, partners and staff. With concerns over COVID-19 around the globe, the organising committee decided to reschedule the 19ABC and 7ISLC events. Its aim with the change of date is to deliver these major meetings in their usual live and dynamic format.
The ABC is a major global event in the industry with delegates attending from over 65 countries, representing more 300 companies.
Mark Stevenson, conference chairman, said: “By shifting the dates out by two months, we hope for the world to be in a better place with Covid-19 and we head towards some normality. The date change maximises the opportunity that we can all come together for a truly great event in the safest possible way.”
Organisers are continually monitoring the situation, and in the event, Covid-19 continues to be a global health concern and continues to disrupt international travel we will take the necessary action to ensure the safety of attendees remains our priority.
