Axion’s chief executive officer is visiting China this week in a bid to push its all carbon negative electrode battery technology to the Asian market.
Richard Bogan is due to attend negotiations on breaking the US advanced lead battery firm’s PbC® Technology to Asia.
Bogan will be meetings with LCB International to renew negotiations towards a refined and simplified technology licensing agreement to take Axion’s patented technology to China.
Last year Axion began negotiations with LCB International, a investment and business development firm, on a multi part agreement on its technology and other related matters.
“The meetings renew previous discussion about the joint effort to commercialise the PbC® Technology and to meet with other potential joint venture partners in China,” said Bogan.
“China is the largest producer and market of lead acid batteries in the world. LCB remains confident in the long term potential of the PbC® Technology,” said Dr. WJ Gesang, principal of LCB International.
Axion has made a number of high level management changes in the past three months including the hiring of Bogan in late April.
