Neil Thomas has taken over as president and CEO of Californian deep-cycle lead-acid manufacturer Trojan Battery.
Thomas has joined Trojan from global fuel dispenser manufacturer Wayne Fueling Systems— where he was most recently CEO.
Trojan said on 23 January that Thomas had succeeded Jeff Elder— who is retiring from the company but will continue to be an investor and a consultant to Trojan.
Elder joined Trojan in 2005 as chief financial officer. He became president in 2010 and took on the additional role of CEO following Trojan’s equity partnership with Charlesbank Capital Partners in 2013.
